ARTIST STATEMENT
In my work I set out to compose arrangements of shape and line engineered to present as intriguing an orchestration as possible while creating the suggestion of an imagined scene through which the presence and emotion of human complexity may be felt within a world of simplified modern stylization. It is my goal that in combining the widely spread influences of modern abstraction and the American scene I am able to create an otherwise unknown synthesis of the intellectual and emotional capacity inherent within the sites and scenes awaiting us at every turn.
